Had so much fun when I met with Mary for her tasting. Again, it’s both a blessing and a curse when a bride knows exactly what she wants for her cake design. It’s a blessing because there is no guess-work about what you have to do. It’s a curse because they are expecting their cake to look exactly like what they envisioned. I’m glad that I gave Mary and André what they wanted!
When I met with Mary and her mother at the tasting, we chit chatted and giggled the whole time. It was like meeting with old friends. They loved all the flavors that they picked and couldn’t decide what to pick for the cake. They ended up with rich chocolate filled with raspberry preserves for the bottom tier, lemon twist filled with white chocolate buttercream for the middle tier, and buttermilk spice filled with peanut butter cream for the top-tier (which is becoming an odd but popular favorite among my clients!).![]()
Mary also ordered cheesecakes for her groom’s cake because he loves cheesecake. She was blown away with all the flavors that I offer for the cheesecakes! She picked Cafe au Lait cheesecake and white chocolate raspberry cheesecake.
Her wedding and reception were at the gorgeous [Ford Plantation]. Nothing like a beautiful fall wedding at a mansion in the South. It was a beautiful day and the setting was set up beautifully by Alysse of [Morgan Gallo Events]. Love the vendors I get to work with.![]()

These are just the cutest cupcake toppers! And because they are DIY, they are completely customizable. I think that these would be perfect for a birthday party dessert table but would completely work for a wedding as well. I just love the “pouffy-ness” of the pom-pom’s and think that they would dress up any cupcake. Enjoy!
