I never got the pleasure to meet Amelia and David for their elopement but I could just tell that they were the cutest couple! Amelia contacted me a few weeks before the wedding and told me how they met and just knew that they would be together forever. I love stories like that! I’m such a sucker for romantics.

The planned a family oriented elopement and trusted me on the design. They were getting married on the beach on Tybee and wanted to reflect that on a cake. But, they didn’t want anything over the top beachy. Simple, cute and a little beach is what I was told. I am so glad they liked it! I had fun painting the seashells.

Their cake was french vanilla cake filled with french vanilla buttercream and covered in almond buttercream. It was decorated with white chocolate seashells and brown sugar sand.
