My philosophy has always had two main goals. First, the cake has to taste delicious, and second, it has to be created with artistry and skill. I use only fresh, pure ingredients. All of my cakes and fillings are made from scratch within days of the event using original recipes. Because I personally bake each cake, I only book a maximum of 5 cakes each weekend. This way I can dedicate my time to each cake and couple or event without distraction. I recommend you book your cake with me early to secure your particular date. I consider it to be a great honor to be included as a part of your special day.

Addy B’s cakes are delightfully moist and artistically created with my own recipe of light and fluffy (but not too sweet) buttercream icing. I only use the freshest ingredients and NEVER freeze cakes to ensure a quality product. The cakes are light and moist with a fine texture to slice well.

Addy B’s Cakes creates cakes for weddings, birthday parties, or any happy occasion that calls for a cake. It is important to me that your wedding cake be exactly what you want. Therefore, I limit the number of orders I accept so that I can give each cake the attention it deserves. My calendar gets filled quickly, especially spring and fall (the milder temperatures here in Savannah). I recommend that you make an appointment for a wedding cake consultation as soon as you’ve secured the date and your venue.

At your consultation, also called a cake tasting, we will discuss your design ideas and enjoy some cake. And, here’s the best part: I bake everything you request fresh for your tasting, so you’ll know exactly how your cake will taste on the day of your wedding.

At your tasting, you can sample up to [THREE CAKE FLAVORS AND FIVE FILLINGS]. You need not choose flavor combinations for your consultation since the cakes for tastings are deconstructed: mix-and-match style with un-iced cakes and fillings on the side to maximize the possible flavor pairings. I call it “buffet-style”. Wedding cake tastings are fun and relaxed, with yummy cake, good coffee, some laughter, and lots of questions.

I work closely with you to make sure each “show stopping” cake is unique and reflects the recipient’s personality and sense of style. I create custom “centerpiece” cakes. Not basic sheet cakes. For simpler cake options, try one of the [occasion cakes].
